Through this program, we can provide work and income for families in need.

Like Toorpekai’s family, who is a teacher with 4 young children ages 10, 9, 2 and 1.

 Like most Afghans, her husband lost his job once the Talibans took over Afghanistan in August 2021. Toorpekai’s low salary was not enough for her family of 6, and she was requesting help for her family. 

We thank Nooristan Foundation who saw the need of this family and was able to donate $250 towards providing chickens for the family.
